We hear "repent" and think guilt and shame. But Jesus meant something completely different.

Jesus's first words: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." The Greek word metanoia means "turn around" - turn toward the Light that's already shining. Stop focusing on what you're doing wrong and ask: Am I facing the light?
